Marion Dixon: Experienced Health Service Manager, skilled in operational management and service improvement tools & techniques (Auckland, New Zealand)
• Experienced health manager with over 20 years working with clinical teams across a variety of settings including medical, surgical and allied health.
• Marion trained at the Institute for Innovation & Improvement initially in Productive Ward and subsequently in Productive Community Services, Productive Community Hospital, Productive Mental Health Ward and Productive Leader. Marion has subsequently trained and provided training in the Productive Operating Theatre. She provides training in the Productive Series programmes.
• Previously a senior health consultant at KPMG - specialised in consultation and consensus development (particularly with senior medical staff), facilitation and strategic planning. Lectured in Strategic & Applied Management in Unitech Auckland undergraduate management programme.
• MBA (Auckland), Diploma in Business (Auckland).

Brian Dolan: Emergency and Mental Health Nurse, skilled in change management, executive leadership and service improvement (United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia)
• Extensive experience in service improvement, executive leadership (NHS as Executive Director of Modernisation), clinical engagement and management of change, particularly in relation to patient flow.
• Long-term consulting position with Canterbury District Health Board, NZ working on lean, leadership and patient safety and the Improving the Patient Journey programme and co-developed patient safety device, incorporating portable USB with patient personal health record (www.tutis-ice.com).
• 30 year background in emergency and mental health nursing and Author/Editor of five books on emergency nursing, nursing education and research.
• MSc (Oxon), MSc(Nurs) and writing up DPhil into nurse practitioner consultations in emergency departments (Oxford University).

Dr. Bernie Mullin: Public Health Physician, skilled in service improvement, program development and measurement methodologies (Sydney, Australia)
• Experienced in strategic and operational planning, client management, engaging health services and managing successful improvement collaboratives across wide range of topics from Patient Safety to Imaging.
• 25-year track record in health service leadership roles (clinical and operational) across funding, planning, national screening programmes and operational management within NZ.
• Established a multi-disciplinary Healthcare Improvement capacity within North Shore Hospital (Auckland) winning a national Health Quality Award for improvements in colorectal cancer patient journey. Responsible for obtaining organizational engagement in Productive Wards.
• MB ChB (Otago), PhD Epidemiology (Auckland), Fellow of Australasian Faculty Public Health Medicine (FAPHM covering Australia and NZ).

Pieter Walker: Psychologist, skilled in leadership training, change management and business re-engineering (Melbourne, Australia)
• Has run a consulting business for 10 years with contracts in all States and Territories across Australia, including public and private health sectors. Working in the areas of leadership development, change management, business improvement and process re-engineering.
• 20 years experience in wide variety of health sector and academic roles including University Lecturer (psychology, communication skills and research methods) and Quality and Outcomes Manager for a group of 17 private hospitals across Australia.
• Currently owner operator of Lean Healthcare Consultants Pty Ltd working collaboratively with range of organizations. A recipient of a Queens’ Trust Award for Australian Achievers and a Community Outreach Award for development of innovative health services.
• BSc Hons Psychology (Adelaide).
